¨El Banquete¨, (The Banquet) is my first ceramic exhibition at at Gemma Galdon Gallery in Barcelona, and still-lifes are the main subject. Through my work of the last five years, I have been looking for the adequate language to express in three dimensions all those things I painted at the beginning of my career.
All the pieces and sculptures are shaped by hand, without using molds or a potter’s wheel. The color, a crucial part of my work, is applied by using colored slip. Every piece is unique and unrepeatable, made with loads of love and care. I’m so happy with the result!
