Cats, those enigmatic and elegant, magnetic and fascinating beings, have transcended their everyday existence to become a source of inspiration for painters, sculptors, musicians or writers. Not only have they occupied a privileged place in our hearts, but also in art and culture they have had a very prominent place throughout history.
Two cats have passed through my life that I will never forget; Matisse and Peter; both of them I rescued from the street and from a not very promising future... Matisse was injured, with her white fur hidden by dirt and blood. Peter, barely two months old, could not climb down a tree, he was so scared and hungry. Matisse shared seventeen years of his life with me, Peter, only two.
This new project is dedicated to them and to all the good things they have made me feel. They will be the protagonists of this stage that I hope you like, there is a lot of love in it....
